FLU JABS - STILL PLENTY IN STOCK PLEASE HAVE ONE IF YOU ARE ELIGIBLE

Dr Bowron retires this week - his last day is Friday 15th December.

When we are Closed

From 1st April 2017 the surgery is no longer open on Saturday Mornings.  At all times when the surgery is closed if you have a medical problem that cannot wait until we re-open then please call 111.

The Urgent Care centre at Bishop Auckland changes to a minor injuries unit only from 1st April 2017 you will not be able to walk in to be seen if we are open for an issue that is not a minor injury.

From 8pm on a weekday night  and at weekends the GP Out of Hours service will be based at Bishop Auckland hospital but you MUST call 111 to get an appointment and not just turn up.

You will hopefully have received a letter in the post detailing all the changes to services from 1st April.  If you call 111 and they decide you need to see a GP then you may be directed to a HUB service based within Bishop Auckland Hospital which will be open 6pm-8pm Mon-Friday and 8am - 1pm on a Saturday and Sunday.

If you have any queries then please ask one of our Receptionists.

The main thing to remember is between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday - come to the surgery.  At all other times call 111
